10u (2013) – Jaleel “Bobby” McCarthy

Jaleel McCarthy received several awards this year at Kay Granger Elementary including the “Hats Off “award for his hard work and dedication in his academics and the “Walk the Line” award which was an honor bestowed upon him for demonstrating outstanding citizenship throughout the school year. Jaleel was also the recipient of the “The Golden Lasso” award for earning straight A’s throughout the entire school year. He culminated his 4th grade academic year by achieving a “Level III: Advanced Academic Performance” ranking on his STAAR assessment for reading, mathematics and writing.
